In 1974, Terry and his brother established Braaten Cabinets. Some years later, Terry decided that his main love for the business lay within the design aspect and since then, he has specialized in that particular area.
Design
Philosophy: Terry's main objective is to listen to his clients’ wants and needs and then develop cabinet design solutions that will surpass their expectations. He enjoys generating computer floor plans and 3D renderings to enhance the customers’ perspective of what they are going to purchase before the project is started. He feels there is nothing like the satisfaction that comes from converting a client's dream project into a reality. |

Since joining Braaten Cabinets in 1992, Shirley has worked on the details of each design project from blueprint stage to the final finished project. She helps translate the designer's ideas into our manufacturing specifications by using our up-to-date interior design software. She thoroughly enjoys being part of our creative team and observing the beautiful homes that our designers create with Braaten Cabinets.

 Kami Pederson, AKBD,
Design and Sales
Experience:
Six years of design work, mainly focusing on Kitchen and Bath design. Experience includes residential space planning, drafting, CAD design, and interior design. Training in lighting, interior finishing, and commercial design.
Achievements:
Member of the National Kitchen and Bath Association
(NKBA), member of the North Dakota Interior Designers (NDID), and certified by NKBA as an Associate Kitchen and Bath Designer (AKBD)
Design Philosophy: Kami’s primary focus when working with a client is not only to create a beautiful space, but also the best and most functional design that meets their specific need. Each project is so unique, and Kami enjoys working through the entire design and planning process to see the client’s dream go from blueprint to reality.

 Jessica Shulind,
Design and Sales
Experience: Jessica has worked in
the design field since 2001. She has experience in both residential and
commercial design, including lighting, flooring, decor, space planning,
window treatments, home furnishings, and sales.
Memberships: Member of NAHB

Design Philosophy: Jessica’s design
philosophy includes ensuring that her clients' space will be beautiful,
yet functional. She understands the importance of having her clients'
personalities show through, and she believes this can be accomplished
with good communication and teamwork. Jessica loves to work one-on-one
with her clients—right down to the smallest detail.

 Ramona Thibert,
Design and Sales
Experience: Over 20 years in the
design field—both commercial and residential. Her designs include space
planning for offices, floor plans for additions, kitchen and bath
design, deck design, exterior facades, and in general all decorating
needs.

Association of Home Builders)
Design Philosophy: Ramona’s goal is
to walk the client through the design process with ease, making it a
positive experience. Listening to every detail the client expresses, and
then creating a design solution that is uniquely geared to the client’s
needs and lifestyle. Designing a space that the client can truly be
excited about, one with their own unique personality, beautiful yet
functional.

Schenck,
Design and Sales
Design Experience:
7 years of design and sales: including space planning, finish
selection, computer aided drafting, and furniture and floor covering
sales. Experience in both residential and commercial design.
Achievements:
Certified by the National Council for Interior Design
Qualifications. Member of the North Dakota Interior Designers.
Member of the National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA). Member
of the Home Builder’s Association (HBA). 2006 graduate of the Fargo
Moorhead Leadership program.
Design
Philosophy:
Quinn’s primary focus is to truly understand and listen to the needs
and wants of each customer. She believes that each person has a
different personality and wants to bring that personality out in
each project. One of Quinn’s favorite aspects of design is working
with each individual client, creating end results that are always
unique. Quinn’s aspiration for her designs is for each space to be
functional and inviting for all.

Design Philosophy: Nicole believes
in giving clients a space that is truly one-of-a-kind. It’s the little
details that make a difference. She believes that a client’s home is
personal to them, and the extra attention given to a space makes a big
difference in the end result. Creating a design that reflects the
client, and spaces that are fun and visually appealing—these are major
goals when working on a project.

Haberer,
Inside Sales
Experience: 17 years of experience in the design and construction
fields. Dave brings both residential and commercial experience— from
framing to finish. He has designed and installed many products that are
used everyday in the finish construction industry. Dave brings his
knowledge of design and install to his customers to assure a flawless
transition from bare bones to awesome—without surprises.
